A low pressure Mercury, Sodium,Cadmium, Helium ....lamps are the most popular discharge lamps
use in laboratoiries, those lamps use for wavelength calibration and tools as single wavelength lamps.
The lamps use are eight pin lamps which are more stable than the screw type once and so longer life.
Lamps for He, Ne, Cd, Hg, Na and Zn are available .

He-Ne laser use in many experiments in laboratories, in science and engineering.
